This is the revised version of the call for papers earlier made by the Editorial Board of Obafemi Awolowo University Law Journal (OAULJ).

CALL FOR PAPERS

The Editorial Board of the above-named Journal hereby calls for submission of well-researched papers/articles, statute reviews, case reviews/notes and book reviews in any area of the law for publication in the Volume 3 No 1 & 2 (2019) of the Journal. All submissions are required to comply STRICTLY with the following guidelines:

(1) All papers must be original and should NOT have been submitted elsewhere for publication.

(2) Papers submitted for publication must be in English language, typed double-spaced on an A4 size paper, using Microsoft Office Word, Times New Roman style and in 12 font size. Journal will be indexed and hoisted online.

(3) Footnotes should be in Calibri style, 10 font size and must be placed seriatim at the bottom of each page. Endnotes are not acceptable.

(4) Papers should NOT be more than Twenty (20) pages using any standard and consistent referencing style for legal research (e.g. Oscola, Harvard, Chicago). Case reviews or other review papers/articles should NOT exceed a maximum of 10 to 12 pages.

(5) Papers submitted must have a cover page containing names, titles, institutional affiliations, qualifications, e-mail address and telephone numbers of the authors.

(6) Papers must contain an Abstract not exceeding 250 words, an Introduction and a Conclusion.

(7) Paper submitted for publication will be sent out for blind review/assessment and feedbacks will thereafter be communicated to contributors as may be appropriate. Note however that the Editorial Board reserves the ultimate right to edit or publish any paper submitted for publication.
